I am a Lead User Experience Designer and consider myself a Digital Craftsman with strengths in technical design understanding, system design, business strategy, and project management. For the past 12 years, I have been developing and designing professional user experiences. My passion for technology started when I was a youngster building computers with my father. That passion led me to enroll in the Interactive Design & Media program at Philadelphia University. After starting my career at Vanguard, I became fascinated with driving business strategy through user experiences. That led me to enroll in the Strategic Design MBA at Jefferson University. I was lucky to participate in a diverse cohort exploring user experiences, user research, innovation, and business strategy.
In the last ten years of my professional career, my focus has been learning new skills to stay at the forefront of technology. A willingness to learn new programming languages and strategic design concepts has served me well. My latest focus has been honing my leadership expertise and sharing my knowledge and experience with junior designers and students. Working as an adjunct professor at Jefferson University this past year has given me that enriching opportunity.
Being at Vanguard, Inc. for the past decade is an accomplishment for which I'm proud to have such a long tenure. However, it's time to continue my growth journey as a designer and leader. I am looking for an opportunity to be responsible for setting a strategic direction and leading a team down a path to success.
